From Good Girl Unleashed to The Devotional Woman: Why Unleashing Was Only the Beginning

For a long time, the work was about unleashing.

Unleashing ourselves from old conditioning.
From people-pleasing.
From perfectionism, self-abandonment, and the belief that we had to earn love, belonging, and worth.

And that work mattered deeply.

But it was never the final destination.

This next chapter — The Devotional Woman — is about what comes after the breaking free.

Because healing isn’t something we complete, tick off, or perfect.
It’s not a box we check that suddenly makes life easy, linear, or free of challenge.

Healing is a relationship.
A lifelong devotion to yourself.

The Devotional Woman doesn’t ask, “Am I healed yet?”
She asks, “What do I need today?”

She isn’t pushing herself to the next level or searching for the next thing to fix.
She is listening.
She is responding.
She is staying present with what’s arising — not because she has to, but because she’s devoted to herself and her path.

This shift matters because so many of us burn out in our healing journeys.

We turn inner work into another to-do list.
Another place to strive, perform, and get it “right.”
Another way to feel behind, broken, or not enough.

But devotion changes everything.

Devotion is not discipline or pressure.
It’s nourishment.
It’s sustainability.
It’s learning to trust your sacred yes and your sacred no — even when it doesn’t look linear, productive, or impressive.

Sometimes devotion looks like leaning in.
Sometimes it looks like resting back.
Sometimes it looks like staying with discomfort.
Sometimes it looks like choosing pleasure, slowness, and joy.

And when things come up — old wounds, old patterns, uncomfortable emotions — it doesn’t mean the work isn’t working.

Often, it means it is.

This is where nervous system safety becomes essential.
Because growth, abundance, intimacy, and expansion are intense experiences for the body — especially if you’ve lived in survival or scarcity for a long time.

The Devotional Woman doesn’t bypass this.
She builds capacity.
She creates safety for more.
She learns how to hold life as it unfolds.

This is the energy this podcast, this community, and my work is now anchored in.

Not rushing from A to B.
Not trying to escape discomfort.
But learning to meet life — and yourself — fully.

If you feel called into this way of being, you’re not behind.
You’re right on time.

And this is only the beginning.
