How to Know if It’s a True Yes or a Sacred No (From Your Body, Not Your Mind)

woman with eyes closed hand on heart tuning into body intuition and inner guidance

How do you know when something is a true yes…

or a sacred no?

Not the mind’s yes.
Not the people-pleasing yes.
Not the “I should probably do this” yes.

But the deep, embodied truth inside your body.

Why So Many Women Feel Confused

Because we were never taught how to listen.

We learned to:

  • override our needs

  • prioritise others

  • silence our truth

And over time…

We disconnected from our body.

What a True Yes Feels Like

A true yes doesn’t come from pressure.

It feels:

  • expansive

  • open

  • grounded

  • alive

Even if there’s fear present…

there’s also clarity.

What a Sacred No Feels Like

A no is often quieter.

It can feel like:

  • heaviness

  • contraction

  • resistance

  • subtle discomfort

And many women override this.

Because saying no once felt unsafe.

The Real Work

This isn’t about decision-making.

It’s about nervous system safety.

Because if it doesn’t feel safe to say no…

you will keep saying yes.

Practice This

Next time you’re faced with a decision:

Pause.

Close your eyes.

Ask:
“What does my body feel?”

Then listen.

Your Body Already Knows

The question is…

Are you willing to trust it?

Invitation…

If this spoke to something inside of you…

If you’re realising how often you’ve overridden your body’s truth…

I’ve created something to support you in deepening this.

I recently guided a powerful workshop on Honouring Your Sacred Yes & No to help you:

  • reconnect with your body

  • understand your signals

  • feel safe to honour your truth

This is the work that changes everything.

Right now, you can access it for $11 (normally $111).
