the sacred rhythm of life.

Something I’ve been sitting with…
and really contemplating…

is the sacred rhythm of life.

The journey of contraction and expansion…
and what it looks like to truly honour both as sacred.

Because what I notice…
through working with people in this journey of healing, integrating, and embodying…

is that there is so much shaming of the contraction.

So much wronging of the resistance that we experience.

And at the same time…

there is so much glorifying of the expansion.
The opening.
The abundance.
The “becoming” of who you desire to be.

Almost like we’re chasing this version of life
because it means something about us.

And so…

when we’re contracted…
when we’re resisting…

it becomes:

“I’m blocked.”
“There’s something wrong.”
“There’s something I need to fix.”
“There’s something I need to heal.”

And we shame that part of the journey.

Instead of seeing the sacredness of it.

So when I’m working with clients…

we explore:

What is the part of you that is contracting?
What is the part of you that is resisting or holding back?

What is it revealing to you?

How has it been protecting you?
What has it been afraid of?

Can you actually listen to these parts…
with love, with compassion, with kindness…

so you can receive the wisdom…
receive the medicine…

and truly embrace all of yourself?

Because when we shame these parts of ourselves…

we create more separation.
More disconnection.

And the journey is actually about coming into your fullness.
Your wholeness.

Embracing all of you.

But if we keep shaming one part of ourselves…

and glorifying another…

glorifying this “higher self”
while believing another part of us isn’t good enough…

we stay stuck.

We stay in the woundedness.
In the “I’m not good enough” stories.
In the patterns.
In the beliefs.

Something that came through for me recently was this:

When we are in the labour and birth process…

we experience contractions.

And we don’t see those contractions as wrong.

We don’t make them mean something is broken.

We don’t try to fix them.

We recognise…

that the contractions mean something is very right.

They mean the body is preparing to birth life.

So why do we wrong the contractions of life?

What are these contractions preparing you for?

What are they revealing?

Because when you begin to ask…

“What is this showing me?”
“What is this revealing to me?”

You begin to see…

that the contraction was exactly what was needed.

So you could gain awareness.
So you could see what’s really going on.
So you could heal…
integrate…
receive the wisdom…

and become who you were always destined to become.

Not because who you are isn’t enough…

but because there is something deeper unfolding.

For me…

this journey has really been about seeing it all as an experience.

Not good or bad.
Not right or wrong.

Just…

an experience.
A sensation.
An invitation.

Part of the journey.

And when I meet it from that place…

it takes me out of the story…

and brings me back into my body.
Into my felt sense.
Into my aliveness.

Because what I truly believe…

is that we are here to experience life in human form.

Not just the “good” parts.
Not just expansion, pleasure, abundance, openness…

Yes, we’re here for all of that.

But what I’ve found…

is when we stop wronging half of the journey…

we actually begin to find beauty, joy, pleasure, and magic in all of it.

When we glorify one half
and reject the other…

we disconnect from the fullness of life.

From the entirety of the experience.

So what we’re really being invited into is this:

Expanding our capacity to feel.

Expanding our capacity to hold ourselves
through the waves of life…

through contraction and expansion…

so we can flow with life
instead of fighting it.

Because when we’re constantly trying to fix…
to force…
to control…

we create more pain.

Just like in the birth process.

When we try to “do” birth…

it becomes more painful.

But when we surrender…

we open to the pleasure of it.

The fullness of it.

And yes…

life is intense.

Birth is intense.

Moving through cycles of death and rebirth is intense.

But when we expand our capacity…
and anchor into the knowing:

“I’m safe.”
“I can feel this.”
“I can hold myself through this.”
“I can breathe through this.”

Everything shifts.

And that’s where we access…

a depth of joy, love, connection, expansion, and abundance…

that we didn’t even know was possible.

This is the work we go into inside Grounded In You.

Learning how to expand your capacity to feel…
so you can move with life
instead of against it.

If this resonates with you…
